WeHopePaws is a for-profit initiative run by Caminhos da Esperança e Transformação LTDA. When you place an order on this website, you are buying pet food (cat or dog) that we purchase and deliver to rescue shelters and independent animal caretakers in Brazil. You are not making a charitable donation to a registered non-profit, and you receive no personal goods shipped to your own address.
The shelters and caretakers who receive the food are selected by our team at our discretion, based on need. We are an independent company: we are not affiliated with, and do not represent, any specific shelter, charity or institution. Names and stories shown on the site illustrate the kind of caretakers we help.
Part of each purchase covers the cost of running this initiative — buying and shipping the food, advertising, payment processing, logistics and our team's compensation. WeHopePaws operates with a profit motive, while keeping the animal cause as its priority. We do not promise that 100% of your payment is converted into food.
By using this website and placing an order, you agree to these terms. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the payment method used is yours or that you are authorized to use it.
Prices are shown at checkout in your local currency and charged securely through our payment processor (Stripe). The weights shown (in kilograms or pounds) describe the amount of food your order funds; food is delivered to shelters and caretakers, not to the buyer.
We may update, suspend or discontinue any part of the website or the offers at any time. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate, but do not guarantee that the website is free of errors. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.
We collect the minimum data needed to process your order: payment information (handled directly by Stripe — we do not store card numbers), your approximate country (from your IP, to show the right currency and units), and basic analytics about how the website is used.
Payment data is processed by Stripe under their own privacy terms. We may use analytics and advertising tools (such as Google Tag Manager) to measure and improve our campaigns. We do not sell your personal data. You may request access to or deletion of your data by emailing us at the address below, subject to legal retention obligations (for example, tax and transaction records).
What you receive: your order funds pet food (cat or dog) that we deliver to shelters and independent caretakers in Brazil. No physical product is shipped to the buyer.
Refunds: if you change your mind or made a mistake, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase by emailing suporte@caminhosesperanca.com with your order or payment details. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. After 7 days, because the food may already have been purchased and delivered, refunds are handled case by case at our discretion.
Chargebacks: if you don't recognize a charge, please contact us first — the charge on your statement appears as WEHOPEPAWS.ORG. We can usually resolve issues faster than a bank dispute.
